     Why Kappa? Kappa Kappa Gamma is a women's fraternity that was founded in 1870. We pride ourselves on our sisterhood, leadership, and philanthropic efforts on and off-campus. Through our shared values and diverse personalities, Kappa offers a home away from home and a family that is truly incomparable. Our sisterhood is built by our love and strengthened by our shared efforts to grow as women. Kappa continuously provides its members with support for their academic endeavors. Our deep bonds of sisterhood are only made better by our national philanthropy Reading is Fundamental, or RIF, which focuses on promoting literacy for underprivileged children. We also enjoy our many social events throughout the year. Becoming a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma is something that does not just last four years of college, but instead is an experience for a lifetime. 

     Formal Recruitment is the biggest event of the year for Kappa Kappa Gamma. Through the recruitment process, we get to know so many wonderful ladies who have great potential to be part of our chapter. There are many benefits from going through Formal Recruitment! It is a very exciting process as you get to meet new people, learn about the Greek system, and even learn more about yourself. If you are not sure about whether or not to participate in Formal Recruitment, we highly encourage you to give it a shot! You'll never know what true sisterhood feels like or what you'll miss out on if you pass up this amazing opportunity to be in a sorority!  Recruitment is especially important because some of these Potential New Members are the women that we will soon call our sisters; and for each of us in Epsilon Pi, joining Kappa was the best decision we have ever made.
